Below is our recent interview with Mason Rogers from Revolver Gallery:

Q: Can you tell us something more about your gallery?

A: Revolver Gallery is a Los Angeles-based art gallery with a one-artist program that focuses on the life and work of Andy Warhol. With over 250 original prints and paintings in its collection for sale, we have the largest “gallery-owned” Warhol collection worldwide. All of our Warhols are owned by us, not consigned or loaned by third parties.

As the world’s leading Andy Warhol art gallery, we strive to strengthen awareness and appreciation of Warhol’s body of work and his historical significance through outreach efforts, strategic partnerships with leading art institutions, and curating international Warhol exhibitions. Revolver Gallery was founded in Beverly Hills in 2012 by entrepreneur Ron Rivlin. Since then, the gallery’s collection, online presence, and outreach efforts have grown exponentially, making Revolver one of the world’s leading sources for Andy Warhol knowledge, education, and of course, his artworks, attracting Warhol super fans and art collectors from all over the globe. The gallery is now located on Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?

A: Our 2022 Print Market Report, WARHOL LIVES, is the first comprehensive report of its kind. We’re proud to offer valuable insights into Warhol’s print market to Warhol collectors and enthusiasts everywhere. Notably, our 2022 report includes the updated version of our Warhol Print Market Index: Revolver’s very own tool which can be used to compare his market’s activity to that of the Dow Jones and other stock market indexes to understand just how valuable a Warhol investment can be. Besides collecting Warhol’s works, Revolver is focused on raising public awareness of Warhol’s legacy and his thriving market by sharing the knowledge we’ve gained through years of experience studying Warhol and buying and selling the artist’s work. Our 2022 print market report marks our latest contribution to the Warhol subculture, providing investors and collectors with insight that demystifies the Warhol market and allows one to engage with Warhol’s work on a deeper level.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?

A: Some market analysis in WARHOL LIVES includes: data-backed research on why the majority of Warhols are selling for above their high estimate, how the average Warhol print increased by 39% in the past year, projections on future prints to watch, and our very own Warhol Print Market Index. Our report also includes literature on a variety of topics, such as Warhol’s private life and his career, information on authenticating a Warhol, highlights of the Warhol Foundation’s achievements in recent years, recent and upcoming exhibitions, and more. The report is divided into the following chapters, with subsections throughout:

  • THE LIFE OF ANDY WARHOL
  • MULTIPLE MULTIPLES
  • WARHOL ON YOUR WALL
  • THE ANDY WARHOL ART MARKET
  • ANDY’S UNDYING LEGACY

Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?

A: We release a newsletter at the beginning of every month featuring Warhol-focused content and announcements of new acquisitions and featured artworks. We also maintain an active social media presence covering Warhol news, updates on the gallery, and other content related to Warhol. We do not have any specific events planned in the next 6 months.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?

A: We are the only Andy Warhol focused art gallery in the world, housing the largest gallery-owned collection of Warhols in existence!

We even have our own Wikipedia page. We have collaborated with the Andy Warhol Foundation, major auction houses such as Christie’s, and many private collectors. Some of our most notable public events include three public exhibitions in Canada in 2015, which consecutively broke records for the largest exhibition of Warhol’s work to ever take place in the country, and Andy Warhol: Revisited | Thirty Years Later, which ran from February to August of 2017 in Los Angeles. The event, which was free to the public, showed over 200 Warhols in rotation, and marked the first time the artist’s Rolls Royce Silver Shadow was ever exhibited in public.
Currently, Revolver Gallery is open by appointment Monday thru Saturday.
