Below is our recent interview with David Cacik, Head of marketing of CloudTalk.
Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to CloudTalk?
A: CloudTalk is a remote-ready call center software for sales and customer support teams. We focus on building the next-generation phone suite that gives users the necessary tools to handle support requests or outreach potential prospects. With Cloudtalk users can easily make and receive phone calls all over the world and efficiently manage, route and measure those calls.
Q: What makes CloudTalk different?
A: Aside from providing top of the range call quality and a modern solution, our unique selling point is the ability to easily integrate CloudTalk with leading CRMs and helpdesks (e.g. Hubspot, Zendesk), giving customer service agents and sales people better visibility of their customer or prospect base. This saves them 2 – 3 minutes for every call they do by spending less time on looking up information or updating systems after a call, allowing them to focus on what they do best and not on administrative tasks.
Q: You’ve recently announced €6M Series A funding; can you tell us something more?
A: We are looking to expand our marketing, sales and product development efforts to enter new regions as well as continue developing state of the art infrastructure ensuring calls handled through CloudTalk have exceptional quality. We are also setting up an AI-focused Innovations Lab that will help us bring new innovations for the long-outdated $50B a year business telephony market.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your cloud-based call center software?
A: The business telephony market is long outdated with only a few new modern, cloud-based solutions like CloudTalk. The demand for cloud call center software has been widely supported by the massive shift to remote work in 2020 and we are continuing to see this trend in 2021 as well.
Q: What can we expect from CloudTalk in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: We are expanding the team with new talented individuals which will enable us to improve our product, success, marketing and sales initiatives. We are also focusing on adding more integrations and expanding our channel partner network.
