Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Born in a garage like most tech companies, Zinc Systems ‘Zinc’ is an entrepreneurial software organisation focused on a SaaS (Software -as-a-Service) platform called SYNAPSE; a product designed to solve the challenges of incident, crisis, and organisational resilience, and today we are proud to call some of the world’s leading corporate and Government organisations as our clients.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: We are delighted to announce that Maven has invested into Zinc to support our continued growth.
The funding will enable Zinc to expand its sales and marketing teams as well as invest in further product development, which includes the launch of our innovative new SaaS product, SYNAPSE “Analyst”, which is a global incident and threat intelligence platform used by major organisations across the world.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: SYNAPSE is the very latest software solution for managing global security operation centres, security and safety teams, business security, incident, and crisis management. Embedded into the heart of an organisation SYNAPSE will deliver Command, Control and Communication through one common operating platform. In essence it enables organisations to proactively identify vulnerabilities, safeguard employees, respond to operational impacts and incidents as well streamlining mass communication and maintain compliant processes.
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months. What are your plan?
A: As a fast-paced tech company we have a 24-month roadmap of continuous development, so our product is constantly adapting to market trends, the needs of our clients and the technology landscape.
This year we have some big milestones coming up; the release of a new suite of products; SYNAPSE ‘Analyst’, SYNAPSE ‘Reporter’ (mobile app) and SYNAPSE ‘Verify’ (Patrol), as well as our Integrations “Marketplace’.
We will be investing in our global expansion strategy and taking SYNAPSE on an exciting road trip to the US by the end of this year.
Lots going on, but we have the team and product to disrupt the market!
Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: Our people are our secret weapon. We have hand-picked our team from our sector and the industries that we work across. This has led to a unique blend of techies, analysts, customer success, security, safety and risk professionals. This means that we can have consultative conversations around how ‘practically’ our software fits into an organisation today and in the future.
