Q: This is the first time we have spoken. Can you provide a brief overview of Wondercise?
A: Wondercise was founded by Wonder Core, a fitness equipment manufacturer, that has sold more than 10 million products, to over 80 countries including Japan, the USA, UK, China, Korea, and more. Wondercise is dedicated to becoming the pioneer and leader of Home Fitness. We are built upon years of international insights into health and fitness, and the service allows users to access unlimited on-demand training courses at an affordable price, with special sessions from trainers to help users achieve their work goals. Our core technology, a world-first, Live Motion Matching technology is complete with on-screen heart rate data and analyzes user movements and compares them with those of an on-screen trainer in real-time.
The founder, Eric Chuang believes the formula of fitness, big data, and the power of AI technology will create huge opportunities for new business models, including preventive medicine and medical insurance evaluation. Wondercise is looking to cooperate with partners in the related fields, hoping to further develop the European and American markets.
Wondercise’s primary expertise: Motion Matching Technology, Netflix-like streaming service, and AI recommended courses brings more possibilities to intelligent fitness. We believe the fitness app market is ongoingly expanding, and we are dedicated to becoming the leaders in this Fitness technology revolution.
Q: Who watches your training courses the most?
A: The bulk of our users are between the ages of 25-55, most of them are office workers or working parents with busy schedules, who can benefit from our bite-sized classes which are between 7-10 minutes per video, allowing flexible planning.
Q: Could you tell us something about your pricing?
A: The Wondercise app is available for download via Google Play Store or the App Store, and to enjoy the full benefits of Wondercise’s services and our Live Motion Matching technology, users can subscribe to the app for just $4.99 USD a month, which comes with a 14-day free trial. Member subscription will give users unlimited access to our on-demand fitness courses and with no expensive, exclusive hardware required, you can enjoy all that we have to offer as long as you have a supported Apple Watch or a Garmin Watch model.
Q: You’ve recently raised your new funding round; can you tell us something more?
A: The investment was made by a private investor, further information is to remain confidential.
Q: What are your plans for the first half of 2021?
A: We will be launching our Multi-point Motion Match Fitness Training System in Q2 2021, which will create a three-point accuracy when paired with a supported wearable, ideal for floor and lower body training. For novices and everyday fitness lovers, the new system ensures they achieve perfection in their exercise more rapidly, which delivers fitness goals faster.
