Below is our recent interview with Scott Sadin, chief operating officer of U.S. Integrity.
Q: For those who have never heard of it, how would you describe U.S. Integrity?
A: U.S. Integrity is a technology and data-driven analytics company monitoring match-fixing, game manipulation and other unethical or illegal betting-related activity. We work with professional sports leagues such as the NBA, collegiate conferences such as the PAC12, SEC & BIG12 and sportsbook operators such as WilliamHill, BetFred and the Superbook. We provide transparancy to our clients while identifying abnormalities and irregularities in the wagering market.
Q: Who is your ideal client and why?
A: We work with pro leagues / teams, collegiate conferences / universities, sportsbook operators and regulators. Our clients seek assistance in ensuring the highest level of protection with respect to the integrity of sports contests.
Q: You’ve recently raised $1 Million in Seed funding; can you tell us
something more?
A: U.S. Integrity analyzes dozens of data sets including account-level wagering detail – a unique differentiator that is delivered to us directly from sportsbook partners – to proactively identify potentially suspicious wagering activity and irregular contest-level patterns. The seed financing allows us to bolster our product while expanding our footprint across the U.S.
Q: Where are your services available at the moment?
A: Our services are provided via a credentialed, customizable dashboard. We focus on the U.S. regulated sports wagering marketplace.
Q: What are your plans for the first half of 2021?
A: One of the key goals of the 1H of 2021 is to build out our data science and quantative development team in order to further automate the deteciton of potentially suspicious wagering activity.
