Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?

A: Yough is the first-ever frozen pizza and dough made from Greek Yogurt, using simple ingredients to create lower calorie and higher protein, versions of America’s favorite comfort foods.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?

A: The idea for Yough was born out of our desire to create healthier comfort foods that actually tasted good. At the time, we were facing various health conditions and were under strict doctor’s orders to give up some of our favorite indulgences, including pizza. However, we knew that there had to be a way to enjoy delicious comfort foods without compromising health. During our quest for a healthier alternative, we came across the 2-ingredient dough trend, which involved using a simple mixture of Greek Yogurt and flour to create a lighter and more nutritious dough. After experimenting with cleaner and more wholesome ingredients, we found that Greek yogurt not only improved the nutritional profile but was also delicious.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?

A: Yough’s initial offerings include a Cheese Pizza topped with Whole Milk Mozzarella and a simple sauce made from Italian tomatoes, a Turkey Pepperoni Pizza which adds Uncured Turkey Pepperoni, a naked crust that can be dressed up anyway you like, as well as a dough roll. The base for each product is made from a simple blend of Greek Yogurt and 100% Organic Wheat Flour.

The Greek Yogurt-based dough bakes into a light, airy, and ridiculously crispy crust. The result is a pizza crust that is not only flavorful but has the perfect crunch. The dough can be made into bagels, soft pretzels, cinnamon rolls and more and you will get a completely different experience. This feels like you’re biting into a soft, fluffy piece of heaven.

Beyond the taste and texture, Yough! has several other amazing health properties:

  • The Greek yogurt used in our dough is protein-packed, contributing to a more satisfying and satiating pizza experience.

A: Yough is actively exploring partnerships with grocery stores to reach even more pizza connoisseurs and dough dare devils, along with looking into adding even more inclusive options such as gluten-free and dairy-free varieties.

Our plan includes expanding into grocery stores, starting with key regions such as NYC, South Florida, and LA, where we founders have strong retail connections.

Yough’s ultimate goal is to continue pushing the boundaries of what comfort food can be, while prioritizing health and flavor.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?

A: As Yough’s founders, we are committed to making our dough go further – which is why 1% of Yough’s profits go to co-founder Haleigh Rosa’s foundation “For Everyone”. The foundation works to bring awareness and support for people with disabilities.
