Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Christopher Bates is a Canadian fashion designer based in Toronto. He specializes in contemporary men’s and women’s clothing and accessories. He proudly produces all of our products in Italy with artisanal level craftsmanship and cutting-edge materials.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: This is our debut in the German market. We are particularly excited to launch our brand with Breuninger, the leading luxury department store in the country. We are starting with their premium online shop which not only serves the German market, but also key affluent markets in Austria and Switzerland.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: We have started with a beautiful selection featuring some of our most popular styles perfect for today’s fashion-savvy man. Specifically, we are offering several styles of pants, lightweight pima cotton knit sweaters and henley’s, jersey cotton sweatshirts, modern tailored blazers, bomber jackets, velvet slippers, and our signature white dress shirt with red lipstick kiss on the collar.
Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: Over the next 6 months we are focused on building our business with Breuninger and raising our brand profile in Germany. We are also working to rebuild our business in North America which was significantly impacted by the pandemic. This fall we will be launching our much-anticipated officially licensed TOP GUN collection in time for the new TOP GUN: Maverick film coming out in theatres on November 19th, 2021.
Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: We recently launched our inaugural womenswear collection for Spring Summer 2021.
