Below is our recent interview with Ashley Hunt CEO at Pancea:
Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Pancea is a digital health platform that offers personalized and practical programs for back, joint, and muscle aches and pains. The team behind the application is made up of an integrative health team of specialists that understand pain affects us all. Yet, there are no solutions that provide daily, practical resources that you can implement into your daily life or routine. Pancea is changing that by creating personalized, easy to do programs that you can utilize before, during, or after work. All catered to your activities, hobbies, and interests.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: Recently we partnered with Virgin Airlines offering a handful of mini episodes that customers can view in-flight. Virgin has been very focused on their wellness initiatives for their customers and understood that includes physical health. At Pancea, we understand that pain happens, and we believe that pain relief resources should be available anytime, anywhere. That’s why we collaborated with Virgin Airlines to provide our content while flying! You shouldn’t have to wait for an appointment to get the help you need. Through our mobile app, and now on all Virgin flights, we provide simple, practical exercises to get you back to doing what you love…. like traveling!

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Pancea’s mobile application is available around the globe in most app stores. The application is meant to scale the Corrective Exercise Specialist experience. The founders understood that many people experience aches and pains from daily life, but few can afford working with a specialist. The mobile application automates the consultation and program design process to create adaptable and customized session types that fit each person’s needs and daily routine. Even including session types to help you keep up with your favorite hobby with less aches and pains. As Pancea is meant to be utilized throughout your day.
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: Pancea is now available in 170 countries in the Google and Apple App Stores. The company plans to grow and expand their programs and reach through their corporate partnerships. Today the company has partnered with many mid-market and enterprise companies including UCSF and DoorDash. Pancea’s team understands that whether you work at a desk, hospital, or construction site; we all experience discomfort and it’s about knowing what to do, anywhere, anytime. Some other exciting programs to come include stress management education, as part of their holistic philosophy and initiatives around total body care. The content provides practical tips and education to help manage daily stresses which can positively impact discomfort levels.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: Pancea is a majority women-owned company. Ashley Hunt, CEO and Justine Luong, COO have been business partners for the last 10 years and have built multiple musculoskeletal care companies together. The three partners including Lenny Canny, CPO, created Pancea because of their personal experiences dealing with injuries, aches, and pains, and feeling frustrated at the lack of practical daily resources available for the everyday person. The team’s goal is to help millions of people around the world know how to manage their daily health anywhere, anytime.
