Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Founded in Shanghai, China in 1992, by Time Young and Fran Cheng, we are a private, family-owned, supply chain & logistics company. De Well operates Owned Offices in 10 countries with 40 locations in China, Asia Pacific, Americas and Europe; complemented by a further 48 countries that are serviced by De Well Agent Partners.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: We recently closed on the second De Well Savannah logistics center, which will be fully functional and welcoming customers shortly. This is a newly constructed 250,000 sq. ft. rear-load warehouse located adjacent to its’ sister facility and within the Georgia International Trade Center, which is the Savannah metro area’s latest large-scale Class A industrial park. The park features excellent access to Interstate 95, with the best available truck route and direct access to the Georgia Ports Authority. This marks the second purchase of the planned East coast platform expansion, with a view to further growth shortly. De Well Co-founders, Time Young, and Fran Cheng, recently acquired 80 acres of land near Atlanta that (along with a few other key acquisitions) is earmarked for further expansion along the East Coast corridor.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Our core business consists of NVOCC Trans-Pacific Eastbound trade, Airfreight and eCommerce services; container, depot operations in Shanghai, domestic trucking and container drayage in China, contract logistics centers in China and US, and eCommerce cross-border services.
Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?
Deliver on our Vision to Simplify Commerce through the Execution of our Passion21 Strategy with continued expansion of our service offerings and global footprint. Over the next 6 months, we will continue to focus on strengthening our service capabilities at both our west coast and east coast gateways. Cutting-edge technology development is another area we are investing in, as a quality informational infrastructure is crucial to support our growth and expansion.
