Mobile Healthcare Services Provides Remote Patient-Centric Healthcare

Below is our recent interview with Alexandre Theoharidis, Co-Founder, President, and CEO at Mobile Healthcare Services:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?

A: Mobile Healthcare Services (MHS) was founded to provide remote patient-centric healthcare that is convenient and reliable. MHS equips organizations with all the tools necessary to bring care to the patient. Instead of having people travel to clinics or hospitals, the MHS team provides as much care as possible on the go anytime, anywhere.

Our team is comprised of esteemed EMTs, paramedics and healthcare providers who are accustomed to delivering care outside the hospital. We leverage the unique skillset of these providers during the idle time they experience between ambulance calls to deliver care to patients in a mobile environment.

In response to the pandemic, our team of laboratory and healthcare experts, in conjunction with a world-class laboratory in Boston, created a variety of customized COVID-19 testing program options to meet the great need for infection screening.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?

A: Mobile Healthcare Services recently opened a COVID-19 testing site at 770 Gallivan Boulevard in Dorchester, Massachusetts. The drive-thru testing clinic is open to the public Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET and Saturday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM ET, with no appointment necessary.

Since the start of the pandemic, the Mobile Healthcare Services team has facilitated and/or administered more than half a million COVID-19 tests.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?

A: We understand that access to COVID-19 tests is critical, and managing the logistics, implementation and operation of COVID-19 testing programs can be daunting. Our comprehensive program includes every tool and piece of tacit and documented knowledge that an organization needs to succeed.

MHS provides businesses, schools and other organizations with all the means to build a successful COVID-19 rapid testing program, including policies, procedures, best practices, educational resources for administrative staff and specimen collectors, hardware and technology for testing and all the necessary supplies to perform testing and ship specimens to the laboratory.

Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?

A: We plan to open additional drive-thru COVID-19 testing clinics and expand our services beyond COVID-19 testing to bridge the gap between supply and demand and bring more care to the patient.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?

A: The pandemic has taught us that healthcare can be delivered outside the four walls of a hospital or office and that it is often preferable for care to be provided in a mobile setting.

As we continue to evolve our solutions, our team of veteran EMTs, paramedics and healthcare providers are working to mobilize healthcare delivery and make convenient, accessible patient care truly a reality.
