Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?

A: Hybrid work and more digitized classrooms continue to drive record tablet demand midway through 2021, as Apple, Samsung, Lenovo, and Amazon all posted strong results. However, supply constraints negatively affected some major vendors from meeting high demand slightly earlier than expected, raising questions about what the second half of the year will bring.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?

A: The tablet market grew 5% over last year’s already strong showing, indicating that hybrid working and e-learning demand is still a factor more than a year into the COVID pandemic and over the long term, we expect these trends to continue heavily favoring mobile computing demand.

Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?

A: Every quarter, we publish quarterly device trackers and the next 6 months will be a crucial time for many mobile computing vendors because of component supply shortages. Vendors which can secure enough supply to meet record demand as hybrid work and e-learning continue through this phase of the pandemic will be set up well for future success.
