Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Genesys Spine is a privately held Medical Device company founded in 2009 and headquartered in Austin, Texas. Our Executive team is personally involved in all day-to-day decisions and active in the majority of hospital, physicians and distributor relationships, as well as on-going product design efforts. The goal at Genesys is to provide physicians with products that excel in the competitive and crowded landscape of medical devices while at the same time being responsive to the marketplace and dedicated to providing service to our customers to ensure patient satisfaction and results.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Genesys Spine offers a full line of award winning spinal implants with proprietary features and system-specific instruments. We have successfully released over twenty FDA-cleared product lines with several other products in various stages of the design and development cycle. 2021 was a phenomenal year for the Genesys Spine sacroiliac (SI) joint fusion division with 184% growth over 2020. The SI fusion system is unique in that we offer comprehensive SI joint fusion options for Posterior, Lateral and Hybrid surgical approaches. The lateral and hybrid procedures include the SIros™ 3-D printed implants which provide optimal stabilization of the SI joint through lateral access and treatment at the SI joint with the aid of compressive implants. The posterior sacroiliac joint fusion system includes our patented SIrten™ Posterior Cortical Allograft implant. The posterior approach provides direct visualization and access of the SI joint.
Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: Genesys Spine is well positioned for strong growth in 2022. Our core product offerings continue to show solid growth, and we anticipate rapid growth among our newer product releases including our suite of SI fusion products. We also plan to launch an additional one to two new products in 2022, so we anticipate strong growth from these new products as well.
Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: I think that the best thing people might not know about Genesys is that we are privately held by our Executive team. Remaining independent has allowed us the flexibility to rapidly innovate, remain close to our customers, and provide for a great work environment for our employees.
