Below is our recent interview with Spencer Holleman, VP of Marketing at EvidenceCare:
Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Founded in response to the experiences of emergency physician, Dr. Brian Fengler, EvidenceCare created a unique clinical decision support software (CDSS) platform with a suite of products that equips clinician with the guidelines, evidence, and research they need to make safe and accurate decisions for patients.
Our platform is integrated into the EHR system, so clinicians get the support they need within their current workflows, which delivers better care, reduces costs, and captures more revenue for the hospital.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: Our latest announcement was around one of our newest products, CareGauge, which was awarded a second patent. Care variation and cost transparency are two big industry issues that CareGauge helps solve by giving physicians real-time, zero-click transparency into the cost and utilization of their orders. CareGauge has already made headlines in the healthcare tech world by winning two Fierce Healthcare Innovation awards at the end of 2021.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: There is so much time, money, and energy spent on “fixing” issues retrospectively in healthcare. The goal of all our software is to equip physicians to get documentation right at the source and have the best information at the point of care without burdening physicians with more invasive tech.
Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: We’ve invested a lot in the last couple years scaling our suite of products to be ready for rapid expansion, which we’ve already seen with our current clients. Our goals over the next 6 months are to continue our pace of increasing our clients as well as strategically growing with current clients to adopt the full EvidenceCare platform.
Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: That it’s a really fun place to work, and we have some of the most talented employees in healthcare tech with an assortment of unique backgrounds and abilities.
