Below is our recent interview with Noah Godfrey, Co-Founder at Ampliphi.

Noah Godfrey is a Co-Founder of Ampliphi and a lifelong advocate for plastic action. As an eternal optimist, he is driven to push the boundaries of collaboration and creativity to achieve a world with much less waste.

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?

A: As companies strive to decarbonize their operations and plastic waste vexes supply chains, decision-makers are often left rudderless to navigate uncharted waters. Hoping to cut through the noise, Ampliphi is an intelligent environmental action platform that helps companies accelerate the transition to a circular economy. By harnessing the power of data, Ampliphi enables companies to take a simple yet systematic approach to measure, reduce, and communicate their plastic footprint.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?

A: Our recent announcement highlighted a new addition to our environmental action platform with the launch of our SaaS dashboard. This first-of-its-kind approach combines bespoke consulting with the power of automation to give companies a cost-effective solution to help solve the plastic waste crisis.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?

A: Plastic production is expected to increase by 40% over the next decade and is expected to outpace the GHG emission from coal by 2030. We designed our platform to create a democratic solution to the problem

We believe that before taking environmental action, companies must first understand the scale and composition of the problem. Therefore, our analysis breaks down the various plastics used throughout a company’s supply chain and operation and recommends a strategy to reduce and optimize. Finally, we provide impact investment opportunities to enable funding to accelerate circular innovations and waste management infrastructure.

At the core of Ampliphi is the motivation to truly help companies implement positive environmental action that is first of all good for the planet and second good for their bottom line.

Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?

A: We have three goals that we are focused on in the next 6 months:

  1. Continue to populate our marketplace with unique solutions to enable even more innovations to scale.
  2. Align our reporting collaterals with the latest market-based climate solutions, such as the UK’s upcoming Plastic Tax and SBTI’s latest New Zero Standards.
  3. Finally aim at igniting a movement of radical transparency. By establishing best-in-class plastic waste accounting methodologies, connecting decision makers, and creating transparency, we hope to lay the foundations for an economy where corporate’s association with plastic pollution is accurately measured, reduced, and communicated.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?

A: What makes our platform unique in the nexus we are creating. We’ve assembled a marketplace of vetted solution providers and impact projects where companies can find and implement plastic alternatives and circular economy integrations based on where they can create the most significant impact on their plastics footprint.

In the marketplace, brands can scroll through unique innovations and next-gen packaging applications in the marketplace and seamlessly begin the conversation toward implementation. The solutions for a circular, low carbon economy exist and are price-effective—they simply need a catalyst.
