Below is our recent interview with Mallory Forsman, Marketing and Communications Manager at BOA Nutrition, Inc.:
Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: BOA Nutrition, Inc. is a sports nutrition and wellness company based in North Carolina. We have developed and are continuing to develop unique products with novel ways to rapidly deliver essential nutrients so athletes of all ages and levels can optimize their performance. We have a robust portfolio of patents and trade secrets that undergird BOA’s unique products and we are constantly developing new compositions & flavors aimed at solving problems for athletes of all types and ages. What our customers want are products that are fast-acting, concentrated, good-tasting, & convenient to use – no matter where they are or what their sport.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: This is the first of many athlete endorsement deals the company plans to announce in the coming months. What is particularly notable about all of our NIL and endorsements deals is that each athlete has used BOA to solve a real performance problem, so they are giving genuine, authentic testimony about BOA. In this case, Wendell used BOA ENDURE to close the sodium gap so that we could stay in the game in the second half and stay at peak performance.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: BOA is an example of a truly innovative solution to real problems. Using our patented “OraBlast” system, BOA can atomize nutrients and rapidly deliver concentrated nutrients that your body can absorb quickly. The BOA canister offers a convenient way for an athlete to get a great-tasting “blast” of nutrients.
Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: We plan to continue to introduce BOA ENDURE (the rapid sodium replacement product) to more and more athletes in different sports around the globe. We also plan to release our second product, BOA FUEL (which is a product that delivers smart carbs, caffeine, and B vitamins).
Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: BOA Nutrition is creating a whole new category in consumer packaged goods – an oral aerosol ingestible – and we believe there is a huge long-term, global opportunity.
