Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your products?
A: Absolutely. Nerdaxe Hydro is one of the first-ever liquid-cooled version of the open-source NerdQaxe+ Bitcoin miner. It’s designed specifically for solo miners who want to push performance, reduce noise, and mine more efficiently from home. Our product is powered by a custom-engineered direct-to-chip cooling block developed in partnership with our parent company, CryoByte Labs that outperforms traditional air-cooled miners. What we’ve created is a sleek, compact, and high-efficiency device that brings serious engineering to the solo mining space.
Q: What makes you the best choice? How are your products unique?
A: At Nerdaxe Hydro, we’re not just creating another miner—we’re rethinking what it means to mine from home. Most small-form miners are built with air cooling in mind, which comes with limitations: higher noise, less thermal efficiency, and performance throttling. We broke that mold with a purpose-built water cooling system that delivers quiet operation and serious thermal gains.
What makes us truly unique is the combination of open-source hardware and professional-grade liquid cooling. We’re also solo miners ourselves—we know what matters. And we’re not just selling a product; we’re building a movement of decentralized miners who believe in doing things better, and helping to do them sustainably.
Q: What can we expect from you in the next 12 months? What are your plans?
A: The next 12 months are big for us. Our first product drop of the NerdQaxe+ Hydro is launching now, and we’re already deep in development on additional models that will support different chips and configurations.
Beyond product development, we’re scaling up production and working closely with our growing community of Nerdaxe Insiders to stay aligned with the evolving needs of solo miners. You’ll also see us continuing to lead conversations around home mining and mining heat reuse—a topic that’s been at the heart of our mission from the beginning.
In fact, our journey started with CryoByte, where we focused on capturing mining heat as efficiently as possible to repurpose it for other applications. That work led us to connect with innovators like Tyler Stevens (@tylerkstevens) and the “heat punks,” who’ve helped guide our approach to sustainable mining. We’re also collaborating with the Solo Satoshi team, who’ve been incredible partners throughout the NerdQaxe+ Hydro launch. Together, we’re not just building and promoting hardware—we’re helping to shape the future of Bitcoin mining.
Q: What is the best thing about your products that people might not know about?
A: One of the best-kept secrets is just how quiet our miner is. Liquid cooling isn’t just about cold temperatures—it’s about silence. We’ve had testers run it right next to their desks without even noticing it’s on. That’s a game-changer for anyone used to the roar of fans from traditional mining rigs.
