Below is our recent interview with Robyn Shapiro, Co-Founder & Managing Partner at Foresight Supply:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?

A: Foresight Supply was born out of a need for rapid solutions for critical medical supplies in the wake of the Covid 19 pandemic. In the worlds “new normal” Foresight fills the gaps traditional distributors left behind.

Foresight’s B2B support model is the next generation of supply, designed to provide scarcity sourcing and ensure that critical goods get in the hands of those who need them most. Working closely with governments, corporations, hospitals, and retailers, Foresight takes the worry out of stocking vital goods through superior client service, an expansive sourcing network, and an agile work environment. Foresight can be your go-to supplier for all your product needs, from everyday essentials to the most hard to get items.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?

A: We expect that product shortages will be a part of our lives for the foreseeable future.  We want companies to know that there is a solution for their inability to procure goods experiencing supply constraints.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?

A: We are often asked about how we can source the items that are otherwise bare on store shelves. Leveraging years of import experience, and a trusted extended network of contacts around the globe, we act nimble and fast, to get what is needed most into the right hands. What we’ve learned in the last two years is that traditional distributors got too comfortable with their supply channels.  With the constant supply strain on the global economy, we are able to move and develop solutions quicker and more efficiently than our competitors.

Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?

A: With supply chain issues expected to continue through 2023 by some estimates, our team is working to ease this burden for national retailers, government, healthcare institutions and everyday Americans. We work backwards to anticipate what the next shortages will be and then release a full program offering for our partners. This includes both reliable long-term inventory, as well as immediate supply as a stop-gap solution.  Supply chain disruption is complex and the reasons for shortages vary widely. Today, baby formula and cotton-based products such as cotton swabs and tampons are examples of items we are supporting our partners with, but within the next 6 months it will be something else.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?

A: I think the best thing about our company is the personal touch we add. Not only by the superior customer service we provide for all customers, big and small, but also how we lead with our heart too. We’re proud over our overall sales figures, but even prouder that we have been able to give back along the way.
