Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?

A: Gild Insurance Agency is a nationally licensed, digital independent insurance agency serving the small commercial property and casualty market. We use artificial intelligence-based digital services to help business owners find insurance that best fits their needs, and our qualified insurance professionals guide clients into partnerships with best-in-class national insurance providers.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?

A: Gild’s platform is available 24/7/365, and our product offers the knowledge, personalization and trustworthiness of a local agent. Our offering was built out this way on purpose; small business owners often don’t work nine to five and need a platform that will allow them to see their best insurance options on their own schedules.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?

A: Our offering uses an algorithmic end-to-end risk assessment and analyzes the specific business risks each customer faces. This creates an analysis that goes beyond simple online price shopping to offer a personalized experience. It can take up to several weeks for traditional agents to pinpoint, quote and bind insurance coverage, while Gild Insurance’s technology reduces the timeframe to minutes. Users are also guided through the platform by Gildber, a friendly dog bot that delivers the feel of a face-to-face interaction. Gildber asks the questions an agent would, along with additional questions, to find tailored solutions quickly.

Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?

A: We are launching additional insurance providers to the platform, as well as expanding business insurance product offerings. In addition, we’re spearheading partnerships to reach more individuals who would benefit from our services. We are working tirelessly to continually advance our digital services to meet the end-to-end needs of our customers and build a community that is dedicated to the success of the smallest of businesses.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?

A: At Gild Insurance, we aim to remove an obstacle that small business owners, entrepreneurs, solopreneurs and freelancers have faced for far too long. According to the 2020 Small Business Profile report by the U.S. Small Business Administration, there are 31.7 million small businesses across the United States. However, the current insurance market is built for larger corporations and isn’t designed to overcome distribution challenges for individuals and small enterprises. In a 2018 study by S&P Global Market Intelligence, 89 percent of small businesses surveyed were buying insurance directly from an agent, typically over the phone or in person. Through innovation, Gild Insurance streamlines the insurance process by eliminating the pain points and offering a truly digital experience, all without the loss of expertise or personal connection.
