Below is our recent interview with Kara Jensen Maddox, CEO at KJM Digital:
Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: KJM Digital is a digital communications company specializing in media, marketing, and design. Currently, we are working with Land Grant Universities by amplifying messaging around pollinator stewardship and pesticide safety.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: We’d like to highlight our recent pollinator work with Prairie View A&M University, Pawnee Nation College, Oregon State University, the Rights-of-way Habitat Working Group, and the North American Pollinator Protection Campaign.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Our mission is to serve and support the creative community both online and off, with a focus on higher education and not-for-profits. We are currently working to build new partnerships to help support our world’s pollinator ecosystems.
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months?
A: What are your plans? In the next 6 months, we will have created new messaging for Pesticide Safety Education Programs across the United States to help train groundskeepers on how to better protect pollinators around interestates, railroad tracks and powerlines.
Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: Even though the majority of our work is virtual due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we plan to return to in-person meetings, collaborations and brainstorming sessions in 2022 because there’s just something about meeting in person that makes all the difference.
