Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: 7T is a Dallas-based digital transformation company specializing in custom software solutions, innovative mobile applications and digital transformation. We take a business-first approach to create software solutions, as we take the time to get to know the business problem to be solved, their challenges and their goals for the future. Then, we use this insight to develop a custom enterprise solution, whether it’s an ERP or CRM platform, that may include a mobile application, or whatever else would suit the client’s needs.
Our methodology is at the crossroads of business problems and innovative technology, thereby giving our clients a competitive advantage and cost-effective solutions. The projects we deliver bring a healthy ROI typically under twelve months. Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: 7T is delighted to receive recognition for our innovative augmented reality-equipped mobile application, Sizini. We were named in the North American category of Fast Company’s 2021 World Changing Ideas List, which is wonderful as we’re very excited about this next-generation garment measuring and virtual fitting room mobile app.
It’s a first of its kind app that solves two problems that online clothing retailers routinely face: size misfits and an inability to visualize how the garment looks on the buyer. Sizini transforms the user’s smartphone into a virtual fitting room by capturing key measurements and selecting the right size garments. Then, the app serves up an AR environment where the buyer can virtually “wear” the clothing item. This makes the buying experience very real for the shopper, while ensuring a better fit in a way that minimizes returns for the merchant.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Sizini is unique because it captures key measurements, which are then used to determine the ideal garment size. Augmented reality is used to provide users with a virtual fitting room experience. Sizini’s AR technology merges the garment with the live image of the user, allowing you to see how the garment would actually look when worn.
Historically, online shoppers have been at a disadvantage when compared to in-person shoppers, as they lack the ability to try on the garment for size and to see how it looks on their figure. Sizini helps bridge this gap by engaging the shopper in a way that can make a clothing item more appealing, while simultaneously ensuring that they receive the proper size garment.
Sizini’s measuring and size capture capabilities are also quite innovative, as we’ve included a very key measurement: torso girth. This critical measurement is very important for garment sizing, yet earlier generation virtual fitting room apps have not included this capability.
We’re also delighted by the ability to help e-commerce retailers that are seeking to provide a richer, more engaging browsing experience to virtual shoppers, while dramatically reducing the number of exchanges and returns.
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: 7T will continue to develop innovative, cutting-edge software applications and enterprise software solutions for well-funded startups as well as enterprise ventures. We look forward to improving upon and expanding our platforms, in addition to pioneering new, innovative software solutions for our clients.
We’re especially excited about SayHey, an AI-powered enterprise messaging platform that replaces Slack, WhatsApp, iMessage and other consumer-grade messaging platforms. SayHey was designed with enterprise messaging needs in mind, while machine learning and artificial intelligence technology augments the user’s experience in a way that improves communication throughout the organization. We are looking forward to bringing this much-needed feature set to market.
Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: We’re not a typical software development company. 7T strives to deliver the next generation technical solutions that catapult our clients to transform their businesses and enable them to take it to the next level.
